Boo Tera Series Expands With New Reader Activities and Storytime Events

The world of Boo Tera is growing beyond the page. Alongside Welcome to Misfit Lane and Festive Gala, author Eileen Kennedy is rolling out a set of activities designed to bring young readers deeper into the series.

A free printable activity kit is now available, offering coloring sheets, mazes, and simple craft projects inspired by characters and scenes from both books. The kit is aimed at giving families an easy way to extend story time beyond reading, with hands-on activities suited for young children.

The series has also found an audience beyond the home. Boo Tera stories have already been featured in more than 50 school storytimes, with author visits available for classrooms and reading groups looking to bring the series to life in person.

“Seeing kids respond to these characters in a classroom setting has been one of the most rewarding parts of this whole project,” said a representative for the author. “The activity kit felt like a natural next step, giving families something to do with the stories, not just read them.”

Both books remain available for purchase, with the activity kit offered as a free companion for readers who want to bring a bit of Boo Tera home.
